Last Cry was a popular Boston based band in the early 1990’s This CD was a Billboard top 60 pick and got off to a great start. Within a few weeks Last Cry was on the covers of several radio music publications and it looked like they were on their way to their first hit. The song was on the air on at least 50 radio stations across the US reaching the top 10 of some and even number 1 on some stations.
In The Name of Love reached 108 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart but then came Nirvana and the Seattle Sound and the music scene changed over night, and this promising CD disappeared from the airwaves over night. Many Program Directors and Music directors said that if the song had come out 6 months earlier that it would have been a solid hit.
City Queen: City Queen was the B-Side of In The Name of Love. Over time it seems to have become more popular that the A side as it has been added to many CD compilations over the year around the world.
